Here's a couple shots from around here in the past couple weeks. When it's sunny there's been fencing, mulching, irrigating and direct seeding crops. We hopped on cloudy skies today for transplanting hot crops (tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, eggplant). There was even a little time and energy left for the fun stuff (herbs and flowers). During the following rainy spell we'll move onto the vining crops (winter squash, pumpkins, cucumbers).
The official 2nd Saturday Garden Morning is JUNE 8th.
Folks are welcome to come out to the garden this coming Saturday morning instead of or in addition to next week, anytime 9am-1pm.
